Fees & Payment
Standard document service fees typically range from $30–$60 per defendant per address, depending on the document type. Enforcement actions (writs, levies) vary by complexity. See the full Fee Schedule on the Fees page, or call us at (617) 704-6999 for a specific quote.

Yes, but special handling is required. Contact us before submitting to confirm the defendant's current incarceration location. We'll advise on the proper procedure for service within a correctional facility.
Submit your documents with the registered agent's name and address (available through the MA Secretary of State website). We'll serve the registered agent on behalf of the corporation. Include the corporation's full legal name and the registered agent's address on the Service Request Form.
A Capias is a court-issued civil arrest warrant, typically issued for contempt (including unpaid child support). The court must issue the Capias before we can act on it. Payment is required upfront and is not covered by fee waivers. Call us before submitting a Capias — we'll confirm the exact requirements.
File the certified return of service we provide with your court. The Sheriff's return is an official legal document and does not need to be notarized. Keep a copy for your records. If you're unsure how to file it, consult your attorney or the court clerk's office.
